um what does that have to do with water change? if you are way into aquariums you should enjoy water change. doing a water change has nothing to do with going outside... some folks love water changes...

I dont like them but I dont mind them as much now that I bought the aqueon water changer!

I don't like changing water in my 10g because I have to use a bucket and I usually make a mess but for my 90g I just run a python outside and connect it to the hose which makes it a lot easier. I wouldn't say I love doing water changes but I do love that the tank looks nice and clean afterwards and I know the water is nice and fresh for my fishies.
 
I do if I am in a good mood, if it's been a long day I tend to spend even more time as I can never feel happy with how it looks.

I find gravel vacuuming can be a zen like experience.
