Water changes don't seem to help...

My ammonia is 2.0 and my nitrites are .50. I do about a 30-35% water change once a day. It doesn't seem to lower the ammonia or the nitrites. I am concerned about my fish. 1 Molly, 1 Platy, and 2 Neons. Should I be doing a bigger water change or more often? Thanks

you need to be doing like 55-75% changes every day and get that amonia down....it at that level it is most certainly hurting the fish.

Fully agreed, bigger changes. Either way you should see a change in the numbers after a water change. Have you estabilished whether or not you have chloramines ?????
