Water changes for any tank

well i keep the plastic adapter piece on also at all times. but the set up also comes with a metal faucet threading piece. that if the faucet is smaller than normal this will attach to it, so you can use the python. this is the piece i lost, and need to go find again.

My dad just uses a regular hose to refill/drain water. Somehow, if you put your thumb on what end, and put the other end into the tank it suctions somehow?? Im not positive how he did it, because I was the person to make sure no air got in the end that was at the sink, and the tank was in the other room! lmao!

I keep all of those adaptors on hand (although I can never find my plastic adaptor that fits any faucet),.... , as best I can too.

B/C THERE IS NO FEELING THAT IS QUITE AS BAD AS SETTING UP TO CHANGE SOME WATER OR VAC A TANK & YOU DON'T HAVE THE RIGHT ADAPTOR OR ANYTHING THAT FITS YOUR FAUCET!!:eek3:

The Pythin just spoils ya!!

There are pythons manufactured by 3 different companies that I am aware of right now. There is the Python(r) brand, Lee's makes one and recently Marina released one as well. The nice thing about Lees and Python brand is the pieces are inter-changeable. The Marina brand uses all metal attachements.

Ok that's good to know, that Lee's & Python parts are interchangeable. I was wondering that not long ago when I needed some parts & couldn't find the python parts.

Thanks.
