And after you rinse it, don't freak out and jump up and down, when the water in your tank sill gets cloudy, it's going to happen, use some patience and it will clear up. Just be forewarned.

lol you think thats weird when I was in the service they called the bottom bed sheet a "Fart sack". They have weird stupid names for everything now adays.

But back on topic.... Main tank and RO water for cleaning.

ANYWAYS... how do i know if the sand is rinsed enough? Also with normal RO water or mixed with salt?

I would start with normal RO, for the final rinse use salt water, when the water runs thru it clear while you mix it, rince for a while longer and you will be fine!!
