Hello,
quite often, our tap water (which runs off a well) seems to bring up lots of sediment, and sometimes there are changes in pH and KH (not overly drastic). Which leaves me with water that is grey. Now, I already have an Ro unit for my saltwater tank, and I'm wondering if I should just use Ro water and add Ro right. Where the problem arises is that ro right only increases GH, so I'd still be stuck with 0 dKH. Is there a way I can increase the kH without having to wait more than a day (no crushed coral).

Thanks for any reply

Add Sodium Bicarbonate or Buy Some KH Salts

You can add baking soda (Sodium Bicarbonate) to increase KH. But there are salts on the market for increasing KH, and reconstituing KH in RO water. Seachem makes ones called neutral regulator and alkaline regulator.
