Water circulation,whats best

I;ve got 2 fluval 405 for each corner of my new 85gl.Plan on putting 2 DIY spray bars across the width of the tank.Is it better to put them both at the top or 1 top and 1 bottom on each side.Trying to get the best water circulation I can.Thanks

I'd try them vertically in opposite rear corners of the tank so that the whole tank swirls around a central point. If that doesn't work well, plan b would be to put both top, rear - pointing forward.

Actually, plan b is probably preferable unless you're adding CO2 (in which case the swirling pattern would probably cause less rapid CO2 loss).

Think I;ll go with plan B on a hoz across the back,shooting to the face of the tank.
