Water circulation

Do the plants/fish need water circulation during the day? I have a spray bar towards the bottom for CO2 return but do ineed surface agitation during lights on? At night time i can't decide between air pump or powerhead to increase O2 levels in the water. What do you think?

i would go with a power head at night. watch your fish at night. look for any signs that they are having trouble breathing. i dont run any air pumps or power heads at night to get o2 into the water.

What about when lights on. Do i need any surface agitation. If so why? My aim is high CO2 and high O2 during photoperiod.Does it make more sense to not have any surface disturbance of the water?
At night want high O2 . CO2 levels irrelevant. So will use powerhead or air pump. Undecided which one. No one has given me any reason why one is superior to the other. LAKA
