I think you are all missing the point. It is not about the water, but rather our attitudes and what we surround ourselves with that affects our environment.
I remember hearing about the studies done here in the states with plants and different kinds of music played to them. some kinds of music were found to be detrimental to the well being of those plants. and others actually enhanced the growth and flowering over what the control plants did.
The point is not wheather water has a conciosness, but that our envioronment and our bodys respond positively or negatively to our attitudes and thinking more than we as a culture tend to think about.
In the city that changed its attitudes about the water supply individuals probably also had positive changes in how they related to the people around them. That only could have improved the quality of life of those people.
You may not have benifited from this reserch, but it seems some people have. Don't knock something just because it does nothing for you.
