ok, i need a few answers about my tank, its a 55 gallon with a fancy goldfish and a dojo loach and pleco. i am still cycling and i know of doing water changes to help keep ammonia and nitrate down and waiting for nitrates to show to finish the cycle, but how do you get rid of this bacterial bloom, its been like that for 2 weeks now. will it dissapate on its own, with water changes, or when i add new fish as soon as the cycle is done? :help:
and yes i know goldfish are cold water but for now he is just here temporarely until i can give him away to my lfs, just waiting for the cycle to complete and money to come in then im going to do an angelfish tank. i know fish cycling is cruel but i had to do it, i was transfering tanks over. and didn't have other means of housing them excefer a 5 gallon bucket that just wasn't cutting it.
