I can't believe this! Brand new house, first water change using a Python. Fitting were all tight, but the water leaked into the vanity under the sink!!

Using the sink any other time is fine, hook up the Python and I have water leaking below??????????????

Help please

is it possible that the python is creating back pressure which is opening a hole (or warping an o-ring or something)somewhere in the piping that would otherwise be sealed?
otherwise, just hook it up, and see where the water comes from.

Funny you say that. It does leak at the base of the faucet, which I think drips thur below. So it does look like some sort of back pressure. Also that sink now has a slow leak (drip, drip).

What can I do to resolve this?
