At first, I'm just watching the video, and I'm like, Cool, there's a nice tank in the background. And then. . . .

Didn't see that coming at first.
On a more personal note, I have water on MY floor. I just set up a tank that's been sitting empty for several months, and it's on a new stand i haven't used before, so I assumed it was that tank because the random water is closest to it but strangely it doesn't "connect" to the tank/stand. So I checked it all over with a flashlight for leaks, and felt with my hands. Nothing. Then I moved on to the next-closest tank. Same thing - no water. So then I just gave up thinking about it because i was tired, and stuck pieces of tape on the tanks to see if the water levels dropped overnight.
There's no water loss from any of the tanks, and my puddle is growing. Just right there, in the middle of the floor, with no water source nearby. So I'm wondering if there's like a crack in the foundation (my apartment is ground level, carpeting over padding over the concrete slab, i think) and water is seeping up out of the ground. But the water is clear/clean, not dirty as i would expect from excess groundwater. Maybe it's some kind of leaky plumbing. In the middle of the floor. I looked up at the ceiling too, expecting to maybe find something, but alas, no rain either. Anyway, I don't like how when i walk barefoot in my own home there's cold water squelching up between my toes.
So i've just stuck to keeping my shoes on. But i should probably call the office/maintenance tomorrow and get this figured out. I wonder if i will have to move to another apartment. . . . . but if i do i've already decided that they will pay for my moving fees. 150g tanks don't move themselves, and i sure don't move them either.
Hmmm. And they could spot me a few bucks in quarters to wash & dry the 10 towels i've used to try and dry up my little oasis.
