How good is the hose at vacuuming the gravel? I don't know how strong a regular siphon is... If its the same then sounds like there would be no difference at all.

My only problem is coiling the thing up after I am done. Mine is 50 feet of hose so it takes a bit of time. Otherwise its great -- wastes some water though :sad:
