My employeer and my home both use the same municipal water supply. Once a year, as part of out water treatment contract, we have our tap water at work tested by an independant lab (Cascade?).

ANALYTE TESTED EXPRESSED AS RESULTS
Total Hardness CaCO3 24
Calcium Harness CaCO3 16
Magn. Hardness CaCO3 8
Total Alkalinity CaCO3 28
Phenolphthalein Alkalinity CaCO3 0
Chloride Cl 3.3
Ortho Phosphate PO4 .6
PH 6.7
Conductivity umhos/cm 88
Dissolved Silica SiO2 6.6
Sulfate SO4 12.3
Total Copper Cu .12
Total Iron Fe .18
Total Zinc Zn .02
All results except PH and conductivity are expressed as mg/l or PPM

Does anything here ring a bell or stand out??? I have been batleing diatoms for a little while and I see the 6.6ppm of silica...is this high??

Thanks
