F1 wild X Peru may have more issues with the hardness of the water more than the nitrate.
wild fish are usually from low hardness water with low pH(actually many come from acidic water)
but the P.Scalare are resilient. altums may prove more a problem compared with Peru wilds. toss in the domestic cross and usually results in a hardy brilliant wild looking fish.
