water sprite

you shuold see the guppy grass that i cleared out last week

its odd alot of the water wprite has roots growing off of the stems its like a tree i know of a hybrid poplar they do that you just cut off a branch and stick it in the ground and next thing you know you have a new tree they grow over 1' a year sorry al that is of subject

That's basically what the water sprite is doing, I've seen almost all of my aquarium plants do it. Anywhere you see aerial(wrong word for this, I guess, but I can't think of the right one) roots, you can cut the stem below that and plant the roots in the substrate and off it goes as a new plant.

Here are a few pics of the water sprite the first is from the top with the peice growing out of the water the others are just in the tank and what not

Sorry about the big picture i will resize it as soon as i can

nice view of the top.
If the top of the tank is humid then it will stay emersed just fine, wont dry up.. But it will go into its emersed form and you will see different leaf structure.

Indeed. Which is disappointingly boringly round.
