Water Stinks

Every time after I feed my guys a couple pellets the water stinks like rot within 10 min. They eat it all, and there isnt much mess.
Water parameters seem fine. Nothing abnormal..
What is going on????

What is your normal maintenance schedule ? your AMMONIA and NITRITES MUST BE 0, you should see some NITRATES, Do you gravel vac ?. Is it a planted tank ? .....

my tank sometimes smelled until i started gravel vaccing it.

Apart from testing your water and maintaining a schedule for tank cleaning, see if you can change the charcoal in the tank filter whether its a sponge or gravel charcoal. The Charcoal as you know keeps the water from smelling.

Yep, try changing your carbon, I've had that happen in my tank, it stank.

my tank smells, sometimes smells upmy room but i have a good air cleaner, i thought they were supposed to smell...

i have tried carbon and the smell would not go away.so im going to invest in an air purifier to clean the air

Never mind that, what pellets is he using? Ones from the back end of a rabbit?
