Hi all. Looking for some advice.

Our City plans on performing watermain upgrades and replacement on my street over the next 4 weeks. My concern is water quality when I do my water changes.

Normally I blend hot/cold from the tap, which I then run through a carbon filter in a RO canister. This seems to work well for me as I have been doing it for years.

My concern is new impurities which might be around during the transition.

Any ideas?

Good for you!

You probably saved your fish by knowing that work was coming up.

Call the water department and ask what chemicals they will add to the lines and when. They may double up on chlorine, or add something totally different when the lines are open to dirt and such.
