is it possible to have these values:
ammonia:0 , nitrite: 0, nitrate: 0

i have a 55 gallon tank with 6 AFRICAN CICHLIDS on it and ive had for 3 weeks the most.

It would be possible if you have lots of fast-growing plants, or if you have a certain type(s) of chemical filtration.

Do you have either?

Also possible if you have old/lousy test kits. Nitrate kits go off pretty quickly, before believing a result of 0 I'd get another kit (preferably a different brand) and test again, or ask the LFS to test for you.
Unless you've got loads of fast-growing plants or algae (unlikely with Africans in the tank, lol) I can't imagine a situation where all N values would be zero at three weeks with six fish in the tank.

no i dont have any plants but i do believe i do have good filtration. i have a whisper 60 and emperor 400. i have hydor-ceramic and hydor-lava as filter media on the emperor 400 too...

yup my last recourse would be to have my water tested at the lfs and see what my values are.. or could it be that im just color blind? LOL

ammonia was at 0.25 a week ago...

What about the nitrites? Nitrates? If you haven't shown any nitrites, then your tank is not cycled at all.

Hrm, in your sig it says:

LIGHTING: TWO 36" Coralife Aqualight Single linear Strip (96W Total)
CC SUBSTRATE | LIVE ROCK on BASE ROCK

is this the tank you are referring to or does it belong to the 130 you are fishless cycling? If it's not the tank you are having problems with, then ignore the following ;)

If it is: Why do you have live rock in a FW tank? The rock will not survive as it needs an SG particular to where the rock came from. I'm not well versed in marine or reef tanks, but the rock could be affecting your cycle detrimentally.

Heh, I figured but you never know sometimes!

I wouldn't be surprised if someone stuck live rock in a FW tank thinking it would be kewl :D
