What kind of water has been most successful in your saltwater tanks? I have read high recommendations for RO water, yet some say just distilled is fine. Is there a particular brand some of you use? Do you have a RO system? Personally, I am just setting up a 29 gallon tank so I do not think a RO system would be practicle. I have noticed that some of the bigger bottled water companies like Deer Creek use RO water, but are there additives in the water that might be harmful? I am planning a tank with live rock, clownfish, some anemones, and maybe some soft coral. What would you suggest?
Thanks!

Where I'm located, RO water is actually cheaper than distilled, so there is no reason not to do RO water over distilled and you can be sure that nothing bad is in the water if it's been run through a properly-maintained RO/DI. I went ahead and bit the bullet and purchased my own RO system, it was only about $100 bucks, shipping included, so not bad at all. If it was me, I would just get one, it will save you a lot of headache down the road. Trust me, I'm still licking my wounds from not using it from the very beginning. Won't make that mistake again.
