WCMM's in a pond?

Probably. Besides freezing water temperature, you also have to consider what fish-eating birds will think of a bunch of colorful little bite-sized fish in a small pond.

if you got a pond heater it might be feasible IMO..... and I know it doesn't freeze hard in georgia so they will probably survive.

It doesn't ever freeze hard. We had several days of sub 20F weather, and no ice has ever formed on the surface. It's quite big - 3000 gallons or so, so it takes a while to cool that volume of water down.
then by all means add them.... the weather in georgia pretty accurately matches the subtropical climate of their native southern chinese and vitenamese mountian streams and lakes.... but id run a heater in the winter just to be safe.
