We are fish heros

I don't know about you people, but every time I go buy fish form the LPS I fell like I am saving every fish I buy.

Does everyone else fell the same way?

Of course. Any fish will do better in home aquarium then in a LFS. That is of course for us since most or all people on this site are serious fish keepers.

Don't mean to burst you buble, but, everytime you buy a fish from a fish or pet store, your also helpig to tell that store that there is a demand (and a profit to be made) for that particular fish, meaning that it will more than likely just be replaced by another fish of that species, often within a week. Sorry...

You have a very strong point.

So in order to be "fish heros" we woudl have to stop buying fish so that way stores that treat fish bad will stop selling fish.....but then we cant have the fish...

we can buy the fish at a better LFS that treats their fish with care.

I never thought of that. So this means were are fish murders. or maybe we are just saving the ones we buy.

Find a LFS that treats its fish very well and support them. Then you'll be a fish hero .
