We have WRIGGLERS!

Nice going! My fry are two weeks free swimming and I have two pairs on eggs as I post this. One is hatching as we speak, and another is due to hatch late tonight. I have been changing my water 2x a day, feeding BBS and golden pearls as well, along with decaps. I got to tell you, decaps is the way to go, you can get the hatchable ones on ebay, and Kens carry's the non-hatchable ones for direct feeding.

Thanks for the comments! Ncogneto congrats on the new spawns! I will look into getting some of those decaps. How much water do you change every time? And what is that blue cube hanging in the back in your tank?

:omg: That is so cool!!! :grinyes: Congratulations...Gorgeous fish!!

I change approximately 50% each time, give or take. Power feeding BBS can foul the water quickly, and you can never have too much clean water.

The little blue cube thing you see is just something I made to feed freeze dried blackworms to the adults. I buy them in cube form from Al over at simply discus. I put a cube in and close the little door and drop it in the tank. The last few days I have had a few of the fry starting to eat on the FDBW as well.

@ Ncogneto... thanks for the info and that cube idea is pretty cool

@Jay...25 from this spawn I think.... i keep miscounting

@happy poet and tonergirl.... Thanks for the comments!

Hardest part is maintaing their feed schedule and waterchange schedule while having to work. :0 Fun though!

Hi, First of all, congrats! And, I know this is off the subject, but what kind of plant is that in the second picture on the left, and how do you keep it alive? Is it a difficult plant? I have been collecting those from my creek every week, good ones with roots, and they just shed all over my aquarium, then die.( I believe they are the same, anyway.)
