If you get stung by hydra, anemones, or corals, you should pour vinegar on the wound to activate all the stinging cells (nematocysts). Otherwise, the wound will heal over them and continue to irritate you for years. It happened to me with a scratch from some hard coral. The wound itched me almost to insanity for YEARS after the initial event. I literally had to cut the wound open with a razor blade to pour vinegar into it. The itching stopped immediately and hasn't returned since.

I've also heard of peeing on jellyfish stings (same stinging nematocysts), but I prefer vinegar myself ;) I think that's for emergency situations like if you were stung away from home. But it accomplishes the same result: fire the stingers so they're "used up".
 
nice links, doggie. I find the first one a bit more helpful, in that it doesn't seem to hide the treatment in tons of text. The second one is hard to read and use, IMO.

We need more links like the first one, though!
 
Nudibranchs and seaslugs
Some of them like spanish dancers are so toxic that everything they touch can be poisoned. Don't ever buy one without knowing what it is. If you are exposed to toxins you might need respratory support. Others have varring amounts of toxicity depending on their diets. Even species that just ink on occasion can kill off your tank in some circumstances. This like most groups of s.w. critters has a huge number of species and some of them can cause real issues.

Sea urchins
Many fairly common sea urchins have toxins in their spines. The spine breaks off in your skin and your musel movement ratchets it in further. Some like the blue tuxedo and the black urchins also have toxic packets at the ends of those spines. These break open under the skin....
