I just got a yellow ramshorn from a guy who had really nice quality ramshorns.
Only one yellow ramshorn survived.
I am trying my best to keep it alive.
I heard that yellows tend to be weaker than other colors.
I don't know why, but recently my nitrate and nitrite has been going up.
I put in stuff to reduce the amount of nitrate and nitrite.
I even gave them a water change too.
But he/she's constantly poking it's head out, but doesnt move or doesn't eat anything.
What can I do?
Anybody have any tricks or tips on keeping these snails alive?
I do give them lots of calcium supplements.
I give them tetra reptomin pellets that float around.
I sometimes squish them with my finger so they could sink to the floor so that some of the ramshorns can eat them.
I also crush pieces of cuttlebone and put it into the tank too.
