So today, UpstateNYer and I decided to drive an hour and fifteen minutes south to my hometown...and we found some great deals! We were looking to get some tanks, to make way for incoming shipments that will eventually be stock for sale...in the future ;)

Hey neighbor local breeder, been into JP's its a nice little store. Watertown could use a few more ma and pa style shops.

Yeah they are still adding stuff. I really liked the previous store, I got an S. Jurupari and a S. Luecsticha(sp?) Years back, JPs seems more salt water oriented, as he stated in the newspaper. I hate the petco here.
 
I worked for PetCo...twice..I got fired..twice...lol...dont agree with my views of proper care and housing..meh oh well...Yea, his stock is ok..prices are great on some things and high on other things..I head to Syracuse to Ack's exotics for stuff, as well as some of the other stores down there..better selection as seen in the prices above lol
 
I went on a fish scouting run few weeks ago in syracuse with a buddy and didn't find anything impressive. I haven't heard of ack's, ill have to look it up. As far as tanks go, abc reefs in syracuse is **** near unbeatable. Owners name is dave, incredible knowledge and amazing store/prices, but he's salt water only, the *******. I want a freshwater version of dave haha.
 
Never heard of it..Ack's is right off 81 in Cicero...ya take a right off the exit, left at the first light by the gas station, and its about a mile and a half down the road on the left hand side just before Super Walmart and Target. PetLand further down that road on the right in the plaza with PriceChopper and Lowes with a ton of other stores has some decent prices on plants and some fish...tanks prices are through the roof. my personal favorite is Pet Supplies Plus on Erie Blvd in DeWitt. Thats where I got the tank today..all their tanks were 25% off (sizes 10-55 gallon)
