Hi there. I was wondering if anyone might know what is causing the small black specks on my 2 dwarf gouramis. It just appeared today, as far as I know. Didn't notice it yesterday. Hmmmm..... Should I be concerned? Is it treatable?
Could it be a black spot disease? Usually it is found in wild caught fish but I've heard about cases with tank raised fish. It also could be caused by stress. I had 6 gouramies in a 55 gal tank. As it turns out gouramies are territorial and slowly 2 dwarf gouramies have developed some infection. Moving them to other tanks solved the problems...
