Well...it's snowing

You call that snow?! Call me when your shoveling up to get out of your door. Or at least when you have to guess which bump in the snow you left your car under.

Lake Tahoe Fact- For every day on the calendar, it has snowed at least once on that day sometime in the past. When I lived there, I saw snow in July one year, August another. You could ski year round if you liked to hike :)

Well it's still snowing here today again/still. Parts of the upper peninsula have already gotten like 13+ inches, thank god it's not that bad here.........YET!! I am actually pretty excited that winter is coming, that means ice fishing and finally trying to learn to ski!! I am also going to try out snow shoeing this winter, think it'll be fun!!! ;)

you know, though it does snow a lot, the snow never gets all that deep here. it's usually around 3-4 feet at it's worst. we never have any snow days... but last year we did have an ice day, where the raods were so icy the school buses couldn't run, nor the city buses. in fact, I don't think anyone left their houses that day! we had a lot of warm spells last year, and a lot of snow melted, turning into a whole lot of ice. every inch of the city was covered in 2-3 inches of ice! even the roads!
