Hi...(Sorry) it's me again,

I did a 25% water change tonight and waited 2 hours & done a reading (before I feed them). Here's the readings....

pH 7.6
High Range 7.4
Ammonia 0.50 (I really can't make my mind up it could be 0.25 it's really close
but it still looks the sound from all the other times tested).
Nitrite 0
Nitrate 0

It's the same reading as it was last week. The only difference was in the High Range pH (which before was 8.0)

I feed them nightly & I also later on I give the a treat (Bloodworms), but over the week-end I did a 50% change & cleaned the gravel, I really didn't pick up thay much junk. I'm I feeding the to much?

Sorry for keep asking the same questions.

Thanks,

You feeding bloodworms as a treat daily?? Just feed them once a day and them substitute their regular feeding for bloodworms about once a week..That is what I consider a treat.

how long has the tank been set up?

tested the source water?

is it well or municiple?

There is nothing wrong with feeding them bloodworms daily. Many people feed their fish multiple times per day.

This makes the 4th week, 2 week added fish.

My water is municiple (I use chol-out when I add to tank), I tested the water before I put the chol-out in...the reading for ammonia was 0.

ahh..the tank is cycling

the fish are adding the ammonia(waste).
if you have seeded material or have a friend with an aquarium and you trust the tank to be safe..you can seed your tank with some media from an established (safe) tank.
if not you should be doing water changes to reduce the ammonia to a safe level(below.25)
