I don't think you can get wels in the US.

If you are in Europe they stock them in the British fishing lakes and lakes and rivers throughout S Europe.

Thanks! Most Catfish do get to big for the home hobbist, and a lot will need warm water. That's why the only large catfish I keep now are Channel cat that once they are big I can put in the pond. If anyone hears of the Wels catfish in the US please post.
