How else do most of us afford for more tanks? Let alone the electricity bill.

I have 14 tanks from 2 1/2 to 110 gallons, and all but 2 of them were gotten from Craigslist.

I found Craiglsit to be a total waste. Monitored it daily for about four months. All I found were people selling absolute junk for way too much or guys that resell used tanks. You show up at their house and they have like 20 tanks in their basement or garage. All selling for what you can buy new at a LFS.

I know, doesn't answer the question. Just wanted to rant. If you're ever in the Washington D.C. area I found decent prices @ Wally's in Annandale.

God I miss freecycle, they don't have it for my area
I also need to go to Wallys, considering they are one of the 2 stores I keep sending people to when they want to return giant fish to my store.
Just check around a bunch of stores, craigslist, ebay?
Define cheap, because I'm sure whats cheap to me is nowhere near whats cheap to everyone else lol. (Getting my 10G was a big investment)

A fellow employee of mine was just telling me today that he got a 250 gallon tank plus stand off of craigslist for $25 dollars!? That's crazy! Why can't I find stuff like that?
