Start buying one at a time then, or save up some money. Your gonna/should have these fish for years to come, so take your time, get the fish you really like and don't buy any fish just becuase there cheap (btw, according to one of my fish books, looking for the cheapest place to buy a fish is a false economy. IME, this hold's true with neons when comparing wal-mart and petsmart, as the neaons are A LOT smaller at wal-mart.).
I'd also like to add that buying a lot of different fish usually looks kinda cluttered IMe and IMO.
Also, spacing out your additions as much as possible is almost always a good idea, provided that you use common sense and don't space out your additions by a year.
