Werewolf Game 1

Lady G, it says in the beginning that 3 Barons Men ride into town. Also Male knows I'm innocent because I couldn't be the Hunter and be Wolf and wasn't turned.

A small group of the Barons' Men have come to this small village with word that werewolves have been spotted within the barony and they will try to help if they can.

Actually Ice, it does not state the number at all it just says "a small group of Barons' Men...not that this is that big of a deal to me, I was just wondering where he got that number from. I believe that is the second time I have seen it now (not sure he said it both times though).

The baron hears the accusations of his people. It saddens him that this once vibrant community has turned on itself like this. Though the votes are close... one name is heard more than the others.

Quietly, the Baron orders his knights to drag that villager to the front. The villager goes quietly, having said nothing nor even accusing others. At the last second, he makes a break for freedom, feral growls coming from his throat, but the silver lined swords of the knights hem him in.

Dwarf Puffer was a werewolf.

His body lies, steaming on the cold ground. A partially completed change left him vulnerable.

The night passes. Everyone trembles in their hovels. The baron sleeps soundly in his castle walls. Howls are heard throughout the land. It is a chilling sound... one that gets into the very souls of men.

Dawn breaks over the snow capped mountains. The first touch of light drives off the slight frost. The villagers gather in the town square. There are wolf tracks all over the ground. Gouges in the wooden beams of huts and the grainery. A chicken coup has been destroyed. Nothing left, but a few tattered feathers and the echo of a frightened chick.

Eighteen villagers went to sleep. Eighteen villagers are in the square in the morning.

What could have happened to the werewolves? They were in the town. Was someone protected... or did something more sinister occur?

It is morning... make of the day what you will... for tonight is another full moon.

Nightfall will be at 8:30PM Monday.

This is Day 1 from Ogre, I highlighted something he wrote that makes me think the Priest protected the right person Day 1. Couldn't have been a turn night 1 just not right.

Yeah I'm looking for the post and came upon the one I just posted. I think maybe I confused it with the possible number of wolves but I'm going to keep looking.

The year is 1238. The location is a small village about 75 miles from Wroclaw in the High Tatras mountains. It is basic living at its finest. In fact, there is no leader of the small community, which is more a collection of huts near the fields, than a town.

The entire town can gather for any important decision. And they will need that solidarity soon. Word has come from a traveling merchant that a nearby village has been wiped out. He traveled through a week ago and there was no one anywhere. The only thing he saw were what appeared to be claw marks in some of the doors.

A small group of the Barons' Men have come to this small village with word that werewolves have been spotted within the barony and they will try to help if they can.

One night of a full moon, both of the town's bulls and all three of the Men's horses were slaughtered. The town's hunter found giant wolf tracks... even inside the tiny stables.

But the tracks did not lead away from the town. He followed them to the center of town, where they became the tracks of men and disappeared quickly.

Your town has been invaded by werewolves. You must find and destroy them.

Each of you have received one of the following PMs from me. This PM defines your role, what actions you may take and when. There are a few clues in these and this game will be unlike any you have played before.

You are a villager. You are afraid of the wolves, but realize that you, as a group can overcome them. They are vulnerable in their human form and the town, each day will vote to lynch someone. Hopefully, you lynch a wolf.

You are the priest. Each night, you may pray for the safe delivery of a fellow villager. Your faith is such that the saints will prevent that villager from being killed or turned by the forces of darkness. However, the saints will not protect from human actions (i.e. lynching or the hunter). You are selfless and will not be able to pray for yourself.

You are the Seer. Each night you may use candles, the bones of small animals, and various rituals to consult with the spirits to find evil in your village. The information you are provided only indicates the presence or absence of evil. Nothing more specific.

You are the hunter. Long ago, your grandfather told tales of a similar event in this very same village. After the villagers' victory, he crafted a single silver arrow. You may fire this arrow one time. It is however still an arrow and your skill will ensure the death of whomever it hits, hopefully a wolf.

You are a Man-at-Arms. You are a small group of the Baron's men are assigned to protect this tiny village. Your fellow men-at-arms are XXX, etc. You and they are not werewolves and you may communicate outside of the thread with these individuals.

You are a werewolf. You are a force of darkness that delights in the stalk and the kill. Your fellow wolfs are XXX, etc. You may communicate outside of the thread with these individuals. Each night of the full moon, you will decide on a villager to stalk and kill.

You are the Alpha Wolf. You are the leader of this group of werewolves. Your fellow wolves are XXX, etc. You may communicate outside of the thread with these individuals. Each night of the full moon, you will decide on a villager to stalk and kill. In addition, if you live, but the rest of your packs drops below a certain level, you have a 50% chance of turning the villager you attack and making them a werewolf (who now works for you and may not communicate this fact to anyone else).

Lady its in the game description I highlighted it in RED

Hmmm... Lady G is acting really helpful but after I read her post I went back to the post it came from and RIGHT UNDER what she pasted it says all 3 mens horses were killed.

Quote cut and paste whats convenient huh?

I see your point, but with the 50% chance of turning someone... if we take out a known wolf, theres a 50% chance there going to be replaced. I personally thin it would be best to keep, not all, but 1 or 2 around so we know where we stand. We know for a fact that is a wolf, knowing we have 1 wolf is a lot better than knowing one of us could be turned into a wolf and than not only do we have a wolf, but we have no idea who the wolf is. Its really a catch 22 in my opinon.

I see your point, since we're keeping one alive everytime they kill one of us we can safely kill one of them because we keep them above that certain level. We'll just be killed instead of being turned.

Problem with that now is we're never going to be 100% sure of wolf without the Seer and when we had Coler he was to dangerous to keep in the game, he could have helped direct the wolves to take us out one by one.

Ok, I'm not really getting this don't we beleive someone has already been changed? Plus if we are killing one/they get one and so on how on earth are we going to get rid of them? I don't like this idea unless I'm missing something here...it makes no sense at all to me are you suggesting we kill our own on purpose everyother time? They still get a hit regardless if they get a change or not so everyother night they get two innocents?
Miken, I beleive this is the second time you have suggested this..is there a reason you want to keep 1 or 2 around?

We have more innocents then they have wolves. In theory we would take all of them out before they could us but since we are flying blind it won't work anyway.

UHH, no I wasn't trying to deceive anyone...I was just looking for the post once I saw the "small group of barons men" I didn't go read farther down. I just found the part I was looking for and posted it, guess lesson learned read EVERYTHING. Like I said it really isn't that big a deal I was just curious were the number came from, at least we know at least 3 of the ones left can be trusted (if they haven't been changed) just we don't know which ones.

Just thought I'd post a vote tally, haven't had one on for a while.

So far this is what I see:

Malefic (5)- Charlie, Deputy, CL, Mee-Mee, Lady G
KOTD (2)- Ice, Wata
Charlie (1)- KOTD

I have looked over and over how do you no there are 3 men of arms where does it say this?

it's a guess, i believe the game started out with 3 wolves and 3 mean at arms to balance the game.

At the moment im torn between kotd and charlie, i dont think either is innocent.

I vote to lynch charlie
