We've Got Fish!!!!

I figured I would start an new thread for our new fish. My Cycling thread is getting pretty long and I thought this would be better.

So today we went out and got our first fish for our new 75gal that has finished it cycle and now has a small CUC in it. We are using a Bio-Cube 8 as a temp QT tank for these first fish.

OK so, the first fish we got is a Algae Blenny.


Isn't he cool looking? I like his light coloring. He was in a tank with another bigger Algae Blenny and it was chasing him all over the tank and we felt bad for him so we saved him from the bully.



Next we got a Bi Colored Blenny. My girl friend really like him and when she showed me I did also.




And last but not least our new Yellow Watchman Goby. I don't think I have to say why we got this little guy. He is so tiny.

I really like algae blennies.

Great fish, the coloring on my lawnmower definitely changes to blend with his background more. He is lighter when on the sand or against the front glass, darker when next to darker rocks.

Yeah thanks guys! I have noticed that the Lawn Mower is chasing our Bi colored around the tank. Dose anyone have any suggestions on what to do? This is the first day they are in there together. Will this stop after a while or should I do something to stop it?

i think its recommended that you keep only one blenny per tank..so you might have to take one back.

Hmmmm..May get a little agression show between the two blennys untill their territory is set / shared...I would expect them to settle down after a few days of being in the tank..

i would wait it out for another 24 or so, if i was in your shoes....Its a 75 gal tank, so there is plenty of real estate for them both to set up territory..they very different in colour, so i dont feel they will clash...
