WHAT A BAD NIGHT!!!!!!!!!!

You might want to leave the lights off for a day or two, to help him settle in.

Sorry about the fish loss though. I hate when fish jump.

You can add more synos if you think you have adequate space. They do grow to 8 inches. Mine is nearing 7. Good luck and sorry about your fish.

Ok cool. Heres all the results:
Ph: 7.2
Ammonia: 0
did a 20% water change. he 's in a 90 with 2 kissing gourimis, and 2 silverdollars.

Really sorry about your loss. I've lost a few fish here and there to jumping, but have never had to lose a whole group in one night. Here's hoping your one remaining fish makes a full recovery. Ammonia levels alone aren't enough to say anything about water quality though. Can you provide nitrate and nitrite readings as well?

I don't know how to test nitrate???? The lonely snyodontis catfish seems to be doing ok. He is eating and everything.

You'll need a nitrate test kit for that. I think you can pick up single test kits by API (rather than buying the master kit if you don't need the other ones). Whatever brand you choose, make sure it is a liquid reagent kit.

Sorry about your losses. :( I had hatchetfish jump from a 55 with a glass top, from around the filter areas in the back. How frustrating.

Ok thanks. I borrowed one from a friend. The nitrate is 0 is that ok?
