What am I ????

Sorta looks like some kinda flowerhorn?

convict/firemouth hybrid?????????? Look at the head it looks to me like it has some convict in it. I don't know if I am right just a guess.

Do you have a larger picture?

The color and the 5 spots point to Hemichromis frempongi or elongatus. The head structure is very off though (could be the angle of the pic). Can you get a side shot of the fish. Right now I would say Hemichromis hybrid

more photos

I tried to get a few more angles. Where I resued him from was a member of the cichlid society and did not generally have hybrids. Not to say that he is not?? My brother thinks in the tilapia family!?I have looked through aqualog but I lent out II and IV. Thank You!

I wasn't playing a game I posted it's picture on cichlid forum also and the moderator gave me the species name. Can I stay PLEEAAASSSEEEE!!!
I looked it up and I think I have to find it a forever home it gets to be 15 inches. It is about 5 now. He is in with my severums and chocolate cichlids in a 140. Not enough space once he matures but at least he looks healthy now. He was a tattered mess when I broght it home

i'm glad you found out what it is. good luck on finding it a permanent home. it seems like you really care about your fish - it looks perfectly healthy in the pics.
