every1 talks about ottes yet i have not seen 1 at any of my lfs
 
thanx i see them all the time just always thought they were plecos
 
Well, that pic he linked to just shows the underside, which I suppose could look a bit like a pleco......but Otocinclus are much smaller and better algae cleaners I think...than any pleco.....here's a pic of the top of the fish...

Byerly's carries them pretty regularly. I haven't looked for them lately, but they used to always have some (pretty pricey though)

Well that figures. I'm always so busy with other stuff it never crossed my mind to look. I was beginning to think they were mythical like some kind of magic unicorn :rolleyes:
