What are the odds of 1-sev and -elec blue dempsey getting along in a 75g?..

IMO They are both gental non agressive fish. Have owned both of these fish at differant times. I would think they would get along ok. As long as space is not a problem.

The EBJD will bullie stancard Jack Dempseys if they are smaller then him. I would shoot for a larger Sev

I've done that in a 77 gallon with no problems.

Except the severums were breeding pair.
Threw in some barbs and a Hoplocat and the tank worked great.

So you had two sevs and an EBJD?.. If 75 is large enough that might be nice..
