What Bottom Feeders for Brackish water

I have a BW tank and have a pleco in it. Buy you a cheap pleco and see if it can handle the water. Mine did and i bought it cheap.

Emery

That's a really bad idea. Sure the pleco can survive for awhile but it will ultimately die a painful death as its organs fail.

Buy an algae brush and clean it that way.

fiddler crab is pretty decent bottom feeder... it cleans any uneaten food and goes through gravel to scavenge..

there has to be a brackish snail..

plecos are really cute when small but when they get about 5 inches they will have a poop hanging out of there butt, every time you look at your tank...
Its not fun cleaning it all out either. If you buy aquarium salt and go by the general tonic and stress reducer instructions, thats not brackish, but a pleco will survive .

just try to find a brackish snail.....

I found a brackish snail!!!!!!

they are called nerites, and only reproduce in brackish water or salt water ,
no worries. if they do reproduce you can feed them to puffers, clown loaches, and some cichlids.Crayfish eat dead snails I know that much.
Ahhhhh snails what lovely little creatures..Did Imention they have the cutest little personalities.

:fairy: :dive: snails will keep your tank free from algae..
what more could you want.
I personally will buy some as soon as i get the money
