What brand heater to choose???

I'm trying to figure what brand heater to go with for my 90 gallan. I dont mind spending a little extra for accuracy and quality. This will prob be a disucs tank.
I'm thinking of going with 2-200or250watt Jager Heaters...

The room temp should stay around 68-70F in the winter and 70-80 in the summer.

What do you think???

Get a Marineland Stealth Visi-Therm. Best thermometer out there. Fully submersible. This might cost a little since it has a hard outer casing and won't break. Also, when the water temperature is right, the heater will automatically shut off! I recommend this heater as I use it myself!

Thats what I was thinking. The Stealths dont have indicator lights do they? I think I bought one a while back and returned it for one with an indicator light.

I am a little partial because I have Ebo's from back in the day when they were THE gold standard for heaters and they are still going strong.

the stealth is a relative newcomer to the scene, at least compared to the Ebo's..

but I am so used to that light..

I have a stealth, love it too. No indicator light but I know its working right because my temps have been right where I want em. but best of all its all plastic, no chance of busting that glass (one of my biggest fears)

Visitherm deluxe - use them in all my tanks, 300W and 200W's Fully submersible, and with an indicator light. They are glass instead of black unbreakable like the stealths. Accurate and have never had a problem with any of them. I do replace the two 300W's in my discus tank once a year because they do run a lot in the colder weather to keep the tank around 84-86 and my room temp drops to 66-68 during the day when no one is home. Love these heaters!

I also use the visatherm stealth. Also, if you have a petsmart nearby, just print off their online price, and they will match it, so you can have it right away, and still get it cheap.
