What can fish see outside the tank?

I could proabably do that with my 240 gal(when its done setting up), since i can practically fit myself inside it and still have lot of room left. I probably could even swim with my fish LoL.:D , but then that would be a lot of water displacement and could overflow the tank.
 
Here is my daughter in my 150g in Jan 2002. I wish she could remember this so I could ask her if she could see us.:D

The divers who go down into the big aquariums.... like Ripley's, or a state aquarium..... can see out depending on the light. If the light is on in the tank and out in the room I think it limits their view..... like looking out your house window at night with the lights on inside.
