guys, not to break up the party, but if you want to be taken seriously like you keep saying you do, please keep these types of exchanges to the chatroom, or the general chat area. Otherwise you’re just hijacking a thread. Just keep to the forum rules and DON'T post unless you can contribute to the thread. ;)

Back ON TOPIC, a 2 gallon, or a one-gallon, is good for 3 or so ADFs. 2gallons is fine for a betta. Or floating frogs if you can find them.

I don't know about drummers, but it's always touchy when pet owners try to tell other pet owners how to do things. It's kinda like that lady at the store hitting her kids. You know everyone wants to tell her not to do it, but it's rude. Some people would go ahead and tell her off anyway for the sake of the children. There's not that kind of stigma attached to pet ownership. If someone thinks they have a better way of doing things, they go ahead and say it. Pet owners are probalby some of the most self-righteous people I can think of.

But maybe drummers get as defensive when another drummer tries to tell you how to play! I don't know. You guys are artists, so there's probably respect for letting everyone do it their own way.

Anyway, that's just what I came up with, in answer to your question, in the past 10 minutes or so... Although I've certainly thought about this one before myself.

Very good points. I suppose I forgot about that fact being as though I've been absent from this forum for a while and concentrating on the drums.

Bad drumming advice won't kill fish or cause people distress. Bad fish advice most certainly will.

Though I do want to add that I consider fishkeeping an art as much as I do drumming. Let's not sell ourselves short! It's just that this art requires us to also obey certain scientifically important facts about physics and biochemistry.
