How about grouping the plants together behind and around the big 'rock'. It would not look so dis-jointed and would give the fish more free room, yet spaces to hide.

First, I would start with getting a background. Then I would group the plants together on the sides and get more of them. Pretend it's your front yard and picture how you'd want it to look with bushes and trees and whatnot.

^^ What they said. Group the plants, get more of them, and some sort of background. Maybe an interesting piece of driftwood as a focal point.

good ideas:D
but i cant move my sword... and i once had all the plants grouped together... it looked like a mess! maybe i did it wrong?

Well, I think you definitely need more hardscape. There is hardly anything to move around! hehe :eek3: By hardscape, I mean rocks and wood, and other decorations other than plants. Once your plants start growing out more that will help too. I agree that a background will help overall looks. But there is really nothing left to do as of now because there's just not much to work with. It looks fine right now, but you need more stuff if you really want to get creative. :grinyes: Oh yea, you want to find what you want to be the main focal point of the tank and make everything else complement it. Like someone else said, a nice piece of driftwood. Something bigger than the pieces you have now. Then you can focus on that and everything else will just sorta fall into place. Good Luck! :headbang2:

thanks:D i just cant find a good...nice peice of wood:(
