Dont worry Toni i'm not going to hold you responsible , i have done tons and tons of reading and i have got a few fish lined up now that are reef safe and i think will go well in my tank. Ive got an old 4' i will use for a Quarantine tank, i've just got to get another skimmer while the main tank is cycling. Thanks heaps for all your info.

Thanks for you suggestions on the fish i will get some of them and the book idea.
Im thinking in a few months i might purchase a calcium reactor, or use Kalwasser.

You don't need to run a skimmer on a q-tank, just a small sponge or HOB filter. You'll be doing frequent water changes to keep the water clean.

Oh ok i thought you had to. Is it ok to use juat NO lights on it?. What about substrate?

No substrate is necessary, and the light is just for your viewing so any will do.
