What can i put monster fish in my 120g fish tank ?

I changed my mind 0_0 I will just keep a Silver arowana..
Cichlid ? Maybe next time i'll buy a 55g fish tank just for cichlids.
End of discussion , i'm buying the tank today and a silver aro today (120g) and then upgrade to 500g (a year?) i'll buy decor , gravel , drftwood , aquarium..

Btw , i'm thinking about Datnoid fish xD
But , i'll not buy that fish due to it's require fish tank size.

I believe silver arowana can grow to be about twice the size of a datnoid. Arowana grow remarkably fast, it may outgrow a 120g in less than a year.

Also you may want to look into cycling the tank before you add fish to it.

cycling should be a piece of cake with A) a 4" fish in a 125g tank. B) seeded media from a nasty goldfish filter

I'd throw a mess of guppies in there, also. They'll be good for the arro to nom nom nom, and the newly setup tank will look horribly bare with only 4" of 72" of space being occupied by fish

I did cycle , last 2 week ago.. just bought 2 silver aro.. 4-5 inch. I know some of you will ask me to upgrade my fish tank / give it back to local pet store.. I Just plan next year to buy 500g fish tank..

grats! and there's no sense in having a larger tank right this instant... you're obviously aware of your situation (tho your sig doesn't necessarily support that statement,) so it's all good

do you have any pics?

One thing to consider; since Arowana spend their time at the surface, how about a couple of stingrays.

Oh , i forgot.. i got 2 spotted pleco inside it..
Ughh , once i mentioned the pleco.. it just remember me about "OVERSTOCKED" .
That won't be a problem , once they grow really big i can just put them inside my Koi Pond..
