it was a surprise. LOL. Unfortunately I don't have a tank where it A. won't eat anything or B. won't be eaten. I put in a 30g with a single marmokreb and added a ton of wood. Fingers crossed it gets a chance to grow out but I cannot set up anymore tanks right now, sigh.

in my old book of exotic tropical fish, It looks just like pimelodella gracilis. It can get to 14inches, but usually stays smaller in an aquarium, around 7 inches.
no worries Its definitely a pim. It was id'd on planetcatfish as a sp. 3. Hopefully it will get at least 12". Its gone from about 1/2"-3" since it showed up so fingers crossed!
