what cichlid is

one place i looked on the kribs said that they need a little brackish. how inportant is that. might be able to add a little salt but the plants won't tolerate very much.

for a 10 gallon, there are mentioned prev kribensis, any apistogramma species, also
nannacara anomala,
anomalochromis thomasi,
any nanochromis species
checkerboard cichlid,

try here
for a large cataolog of names and photos...
most of those species prefer softer acidic water....

kribs are apparently a very versatile fish, in that they can fare quite well in a broad range of ph - from as low as 6 up to 8.....

hey firetank, some of the species listed "require" pretty low ph. how inportant is that. as in which ones can live in neutral water. I am trying to fit the fish to the tank and its water conditions
