What color/theme background do you have?

I painted the back of my tank and I'm loving it! I think the fish like it too. It gives them a boundary, so they won't smash their poor little noses!

Don't forget about green. It looks very natural in freshwater.

My 90 is painted a greenish marble texture. The 25 is painted black and the 75 is vinyl plant print. One day I will change this but am not going to move the tank to do it right now. Any dark color looks good IMO but I kind of like the light green marble in the 90. It really brightens things up.

I have black on my 5, blue on my 10, and a rocky background like this on my 60 and 20.

I just spraypaint the back of my tanks black....cheap to do plus it looks great
