What Dither Fish Can I Get For My GT's

actually silver dollars can be quite nippy if they are not kept in large enough schools. get regular silver dollars, and get six of them.

I wish I could get 6+, but no-one has them =p. I'm going to have to settle for 2 red hooks and 2 normals for now.

Thats my silverdollar shoal! 2 redhooks, and 2 reg silverdollars..... post some pics please

Quick question before I buy silver dollars... Instead of convict/giant danios/silver dollars, could I get a much desired flagtail as a target/dither? If so, what size and how many would be best for 2, 5" gt's? Would it eat my gt's eggs? I also heard sometimes firemouths could be kept with gt's, but idk if it would be good if they were breeding.

Ohh.... Flagtail prochildulis getting one next week for myself for my datnoid tank. Flagtail are very aggressive towards there own species. You'll have to only keep one. Yes, it will eat your green terrors eggs. Firemouths should be fine with green terrors. Also flagtails eat alage its up to you. if I were you I'd get 1 flagtail, and 2 redhooks.

Well, I really want my gt's to keep their eggs though =p. Is there anything I could do to make sure the flagtail doesnt come near the eggs?

Would the flagtail eat the babies once their say, 1"?

So I could essentially get a 2" flagtail and 4 silver dollars with 2 gt's and then just seperate them when needed?
No the flagtail wouldn't eat babies.. they eat veggies... yes that should be fine... I might get myself a 2-4'' flagtail!

Yikes, with this divides idea im tempted to get some pictus cats now lol. I'm also thinking maybe the flagtail would be good as more of a population control. It wouldn't eat ALL of the eggs right?

Still not sure what to do =p.
