ever since i bumped up the regular 0.75 wpg to the 1.25 wpg, i really don't know what other plants i can add that i couldn't add before... i wanted an amazon sword but people say i need rich gravel and all i have is just regular gravel...

NO co2 system
regular gravel (my snail seems to dig in and go through the tank.... no wonder my snail keeps digging up my plants )

You could try anacharis/elodea, most crypts, marimo balls, and pretty much any anubias species.

you can try sword. get some root tabs and stick them in the gravel.

they usually do best in higher light but I have some growing in a tanks sililar to yours and they are doing fine..just growing slower..which isn't a bad thing as amazon swords can get huge.

Got a Sword in my community tank, planted in regular pea gravel and it's growing good-too good!

Took over the 10, moved to the 29 and it dominates the right hand side of that tank.

Just fert with Florish once a week and Excell when I remember...

Most lfs carry various plant fertilizers. You want the solid ones that you push into the gravel for a sword plant. I'd recommend putting a couple on the very bottom of the tank under where you plant the sword. I have a sword in my 55 and when I look up from underneath I can see the roots growing along the glass.

lol i did the same with my water sprite... so intricate...
