I say go for it. I know that you know your herps and I think you'll be fine. You're not one of those loony's I see at reptile shows buying baby alligators for the "Wow, kewl!" factor.
Thanks bro, Im still considering it and talking to the wifey trying to convince her it wont be much more work than my royals.I say go for it. I know that you know your herps and I think you'll be fine. You're not one of those loony's I see at reptile shows buying baby alligators for the "Wow, kewl!" factor.
I have about 1,000 rats of various sizes in my freezer atm and keep a steady supply of atleast 200 always on hand. As well as freezers stock full of fish. So im not worried about food.Do you have a deep freeze? You'll need plenty of room for all those frozen rats you'll be getting.
Awesome pickup, by the way.
Read Seth's post below pleaseLike the others have said, as long as you know what you're getting into, you should definetely get the Caiman. Right now you'll be feeding him mice, 5 years from now you'll be feeding him rabbits.![]()
Actually these guys are primarily fish eaters in the wild. They also stay under 5 feet so a rabbit might be a bit big for them. Large rats would probably work better along with lots of fresh fish fillets.
he's wanting some RTB's and a pastel royal.wow, kewl
